Your mission

As an intern at SoundTalks^®, you’ll be performing digital signal processing and applying statistical and machine learning methods on audio data to detect and predict critical transitions that are key in monitoring the health status of livestock animals. How’s that for a unique job description.

Your responsibilities

To become fluent in sound analysis algorithms.To enthusiastically explore, develop and validate new algorithms in Python.
To accurately monitor ongoing research in the field of audio analysis.
To never stop learning.
To learn how to provide and receive constructive feedback to and from your peers.
To be passionate and to become a responsible member of our team. You’ll matter to us.
To make the most of this internship and expand your technical and social skills.

Your profile

Like what you read so far? Good!
Here are few things we need you to be:

You’re almost a Master in Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or other relevant scientific discipline like Signal Processing or Telecommunications.
You love everything about Digital Signal Processing methods and statistics.
You’re all about Python as a tool for scientific computing.
Some basic knowledge of Machine Learning would be a nice-to-have.
You love working in a team, but you can just as easily think for yourself.
You are responsible for your work, and are willing to take initiative when needed.
9-to-5 is so 2020. Flexibility (from our side and yours) is what really matters.
