Your mission
As DevOps Engineer you build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, keep sprints going, automate software delivery and work on improving processes. You’ll be the go-to person for our automated test-suite that validates the end-to-end functionality of Soundtalks livestock monitoring solutions as well as the functionality of each of its components. Quite the mission, should you choose to accept it.
Your responsibilities
- To implement and maintain quality control procedures including assembly test procedures and automated system-level test.
- To implement a validation test suite to test against system-level requirements.
- To neatly define the test plan and clarifying requirements for upcoming product generations.
- To debug quality problems on both a software and hardware level.
- To work in close connection to back-end and embedded software developers.
- To drive and supervise quality control procedures.
- To boldly go. And go again.
Your profile
Here are few things we need you to be:
- You’re a Bachelor or Master in a software related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- You’re all about software configuration management tools like Confluence, Gitlab, Gitlab CI, AWS, Git, Jenkins, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- You call yourself a Python expert and know a thing or two about test automation.
- Software and hardware debugging is what gets you of bed every morning.
- A bit of Linux knowledge is a (big) plus.
- Any experience with signal processing or software solutions to computational problems on embedded systems is very welcome as well!
- You’re a stress-resistant problem solver who’s all about ‘can do’. Just like the rest of us. Your English is excellent, your Dutch flawless.
